Nothing can be creepier than graveyards but usually not so much in the middle of the day. However this graveyard in particular was the famous Salem graveyard where all accused of witchcraft were hanged and buried in the 1600's. Sarah Good was one of the first women to be accused of being a witch and was hanged on July 19, 1692 along with her husband John Proctor.

The fourth image is strongest. The composition is really strong and interesting. The weakest image is the last one, would've have liked to see a more interesting composition, but the subject matter is very interesting in all the photos.
ReplyDeletethought provoking subject matter for sure. Makes you contemplate how good we have it now. I enjoy the pond with the barn and the Old North Church picture. The others aren't as strong, but still tell the story.
ReplyDeleteI like the pictures and the history behind them. I don't dig so much on the Minuteman picture but the rest have good composition like thirds and just placement in general.
